Develop full awareness of the environment where you are working. This means knowing your responsibility and expectations from people you are interacting with. Know the kind of clients you are serving and their reaction to issues. It enables you to prepare, especially your emotional reaction. You also gain the strength to handle different expected situations in this environment.

Set and work towards clear goals instead of focusing on side shows. Serve the client according to laid protocol regardless of his or her personality. Deliver results without too much focus on the actions of your boss. When you constantly hit your goals, unwarranted pressure will subside. The drama will no control your life because you have inner peace of fulfilling expectations.

Demand to know the clear expectations of your place of work. This means clarity on job description, client protocol and relationships with seniors as well as juniors, among other management issues. You can plan and understand the processes and reporting protocols to avoid conflicts. It takes away the pressure to perform because you can acquire necessary skills and fulfill expectations without uncertainty.

Find a way to relax and relief the pressure. This should be supported by management. Do not take up a lot of work that it leaves you fatigued. Demand reasonable working hours and break intervals that allow you to relax. Take a snack to avoid hunger. Get a comfortable seat and be allowed to serve customers or process issues at a reasonable pace. You will avoid unnecessary pressure in the process.

Establish a process of escalating emerging issues whenever they arise. Bosses should take up responsibilities instead of leaving you to struggle with them. Do not be fatigued working on what your juniors or seniors should handle. When others in the team make mistakes, they must take responsibility. It enables you to appreciate your performance.

Take a firm stand on issues and do not accommodate other people such that you get into trouble. Establish your space and do not allow other people to violate it. Work as part of a team and ensure that the responsibilities of everyone are taken to avoid biting more than you can chew. Have a social and personal life beyond your work. This ensures that you do not succumb to unwarranted pressure.

Enhance your mental and physical resilience. A strong body will maintain its cool in the wake of persistent pressure. With the mind controlling the body, the amount of pressure your mind can take depends on its strength. This is a guarantee that you will not succumb to ordinary pressures at work. Remember that a strong interior will be seen by how well you handle external issues.
