Hormone Replacement Therapy has been used for many years as a means of controlling the symptoms of menopause. It was not only known to aid in this but also assist in preventing heart conditions. Recent studies have however recommended that it be used in low doses as it makes one prone to conditions such as breast cancer. One can use it for about two to four years.

In summation of the above, women should put in kind that menopause is a normal passage of life hence it cannot be avoided. One should also know of what to do so as to make sure they do not get it early. This includes avoiding smoking, taking a low- fat diet which will also help prevent heart conditions, exercising on a regular basis among other factors.
