A Summary On Matte Top Coat Daubing

By Robert Bennett

Properly manicured fingers are a sight to behold especially among ladies. Similarly, the uneven and scratched polish is worse than natural fingernails. There is a risk in handling manicure as it should not. For instance, if proper procedure is not followed, individuals risk cracked and weak structures. Notably, very few people understand the basic procedures of performing manicure. In fact, some of them do not understand why the matte top coat is a significant nail treatment element. The following sections describe manicure as recommended by experts.

Preparing your hands comes first. Like painting, nail preparation follows a number of steps. To begin with, remove old layers of coating. It is important to do so for an even manicure. There are numerous removers such as acetone to help in this. Once you are clean, trim long and unshapely fingernails. Afterward, buffer and smooth edges using a file. This process will require tools such as clippers, files, and buffers.

Once an individual is satisfied with the shape of their fingers, what follows is exfoliation. Exfoliation is the process of opening pores. To do so, put some warm water in a basin and add some facial cleanser. Before soaking your hands or legs, use a soft brush and scrub to exfoliate. Immerse hands or legs for about three minutes, remove then wipe off with a clean cloth. Soaking softens cuticles and makes it easy to push them backward. Stop if it feels painful.

Exfoliation leaves skin surface dehydrated. It is risky leaving skin dry hence it is advisable to moisturize yourself. There are numerous products that could be used to hydrate hands or legs. Since body lotions are readily available, one may use that. If possible, purchase almond or massage oil.

At this point, you are almost ready to start applying varnish. However, it is important to wipe off grease and oil since these reduce the durability of your polish. Wiping using a cloth dipped in alcohol works best. After drying, apply some petroleum jelly on finger edges. The oil acts as a barrier between skin and varnish. If any polish spills on the nail edges, removing it later will be easy. Be careful not to apply any jelly on fingernails.

This is followed by painting. Stroke a thin layer of base polish once on each finger to keep them stronger. Then follows painting using a preferred varnish color. Like your base, paint a thin layer of varnish. Repeat this twice or thrice after each layer has hardened. Remember, spreading too much paint does not result in neat nails. Adding the last layer of shiny varnish is optional.

After about fifteen minutes, your paint will have hardened. Suppose an individual has not mastered the art of perfect spreading, there will be some spillover. Simply pull out or wipe with a piece of cloth dipped in remover.

Fingers are delicate structures. For this reason, it is advisable to rest them for a while. Also, individuals should always ensure to use quality products. This help in making sure that the entire process becomes a success.
