In some situations other conditions like heat, laser and light are applied in combination with the materials for bleaching. This system is very rapid and teeth are cleared after a very short time. Also, whitening strips may be used to get rid of teeth discoloration. These strips are always combined with the whitening gels, and they contain hydrogen peroxide that is responsible for washing away the stains. Whitening strips are applied two times day for a fortnight.

Next is a home remedy for discolored teeth. Most people are familiar with soda ash or baking powder yet they do not have the knowledge that it can be used to remove yellow marks on teeth. Baking powder paste contains chemicals that whiten teeth.
